Armorica
Armorica ancient name for Brittany, from Gallo-Romance Are-mor-ica, lit. "before the sea," with a Celtic prefix meaning "before" (Cf. O.Ir. ar) + mare "sea" (see MERE (Cf. mere) (n.)).
