Apollonian
Apollonian (adj.) 1660s, from APOLLO (Cf. Apollo) (Gk. Apollon) + -IAN (Cf. -ian). The Greek adjective was Apollonios. The word also is attested in English as Apollinarian (1753), Apolline (c.1600).
