lickerish

lickerish
lickerish "fond of delicious fare," c.1500, from M.E. likerous "pleasing to the palate" (late 13c.), from Anglo-Fr. *likerous, O.Fr. licherous (see LECHEROUS (Cf. lecherous)). Unlike the French word, it generally kept close to its literal sense.
